I want to be a broker, but the Department of State claims I don’t have enough sales class hours. What does this mean?

In July 2008, the Department of State changed the sales course hourly requirement from 45 hours to 75 hours. Those already licensed before July 2008, who are now going for their broker license are responsible for taking the new additional 30 hours from the salesperson’s class.
